Trouble And Money #30

After double checking the number on the house with the number on the napkin, Scott knew he was in the right place. His silenced pistol was tucked in his waistband.

Trouble And Money #30

Scott Kinney is a seasoned professional who is about to retire to Florida.

On The Way to a suburban neighborhood in Beverly, Massachusetts

Scott Kinney (Adam Cartwright) received his instructions and agreed to them all. After tonight, he was officially retired. When the truck left and headed North on Interstate 95, he radioed his sister and told her the target was on its way.

The truck continued about one mile ahead of him. Scott started looking for an exit that would take him to Danvers, Massachusetts. The gang learned early not to use a GPS when going to a target's home. Requests about specific addresses could be traced back.

Scott had everything he needed on the back of a pink and orange donut store napkin.

It was a lovely evening, and Scott could not help but think about moving to Florida soon. He and his wife picked out a home in The Villages, an over 55 community with all the golf Scott would want and Mah Jong clubs for Tilley.

He put those thoughts out of his head and began to focus on the target who sold the logistics information to the gang. It was the final loose end that the Kinneys had to deal with, bringing Scott's button total to 11. He never felt remorse for the victims. To Scott, it was the job as long as he didn't get caught.

Ten miles from the well to do community in Beverly, Massachusetts, Scott pulled into the parking lot of a popular donut chain. He went straight for the men's room.

Inside, he changed into blue coveralls and a red, white, and blue nylon baseball cap from a popular pizza delivery chain.

When he got outside, he pulled a large plastic bubble sign from the pizza company and affixed it to the roof of his car with suction cups. Once plugged into his cigarette lighter, the sign was lit from within.

He pulled an insulated pizza bag from the trunk, put the double pepperoni lunch leftovers in it, and put it on the passenger side seat.

Chapman Street, Beverly, Massachusetts

Scott followed the directions on his napkin until he came to a large, lit home on Chapman Street. A boat and a large Recreational Vehicle were parked on the side of the house.

After double checking the number on the house with the number on the napkin, Scott knew he was in the right place.

His silenced pistol was tucked in his waistband.

Scott walked up the sidewalk, holding the delivery bag as if it had a pizza.

He pushed the button on the video bell but did not look at it.

A short man answered the door in a minute, and Scott said, "Are you R. Clifton?"

Ralph answered, "Yes."

As Scott started to pull his semi from his waist, a woman stepped up behind Ralph, and said "Are we getting pizza Ralphie?"

It was too late. Scott's pistol was visible.

Reflexively, the woman behind Ralph raised a Glock Pistol, and she and Scott aimed at each other.

Sophie Tanner, FBI, aimed at Scott's largest center of mass and double tapped her Glock.

Scott died on the Cliftons' porch.

A Kinney got caught.

It was Sophie's second "agent involved shooting" and her second kill.

She was first in her class on the range at the Quantico training campus.

(Special Agent Sophie Tanner was the right shooter placed in a potential target's home. There was no hesitation when danger presented itself.)
